波特兰幼儿园老师在向学生运送物资时被黑人劫持

12月14日下午1时30分左右，波特兰幼儿园老师在向学生运送物资时被两年轻黑人持枪劫持。

事件发生在波特兰东北Wygant街5900街口。两名男子走到幼儿园老师的车门前，用枪指着她，要求她放弃汽车。

幼儿园老师下了车，两名男子迅速开走幼儿园老师的车。

警方说，这辆车是2018年的黑色本田雅阁，俄勒冈牌328KZK。

犯罪嫌疑人被描述为十几岁至二十多岁的两名黑人。

We wanted to let you know that yesterday afternoon one of our staff members experienced a carjacking while conducting a home visit. As soon as the teacher reported this to me, I worked with her to make sure she was supported and had access to all available resources and help. Thankfully she was not physically harmed and is doing well given the circumstances. Portland Police Bureau was notified of the incident and responded, and PPS district office including security and human resources are working with us to support our teacher.

This really saddens us as a staff knowing that we are trying to support our community in the best way, and to now have a layer of fear added is weighing heavy on us and the community. We are working with staff to have a safety system in place to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable when delivering materials and supporting families.

Our top priority is the safety of students and staff. As a community and as a school district, we have a collective responsibility to ensure our schools provide a caring, supportive environment.
